We’ve all seen the articles and photos for the Christopher Deam designed Airstream Sterling, but how does it look up close? Luckily, we got to see one live and in person this week. In a word, it’s bright.
This is what you see when you open the door in the Obsidian Violet color palette of the Airstream Sterling — it’s a lot, but there are some cool things about it. We like the black upholstery and the flat silver drawer handles — you push on them and a little handle pops out for easy pulling.
After dealing with the floor color (which has the texture of a sisal rug) and how it bounces off the silver of the cabinets, realizing every lower cabinet IS silver doesn’t seem so bad.
Overall, this isn’t something I could live with, but it’s fun to look at and we’re glad Airstream continues to go out of it’s comfort zone to bring us new and exciting things! If you’d like to see the other color option, Arctic Dijon, check here!
