Nice catch Mike, and you’re right. The Turnpike is named after George Senior. However, the section that cuts off the front lawn of Randy’s shop in Carrollton was opened July 2001, planting it just outside the first 100 days of George W’s presidency and just past his governorship. I’ve corrected the naming error, but I’m not ready to let go of the blame.

Pretty sure the turnpike is named after the dad, not the son. So W can’t take the blame on this one.
