Nice catch Mike, and you're right. The Turnpike is named after George Senior. However, the section that cuts off the front lawn of Randy's shop in Carrollton was opened July 2001, planting it just outside the first 100 days of George W's presidency and just past his governorship. I've corrected the naming error, but I'm not ready to let go of the blame.

Pretty sure the turnpike is named after the dad, not the son. So W can't take the blame on this one.

On the same week we received the “come pick up your new Airstream” call from ExploreUSA, I received another call from my family that required me to return to NC for a family emergency. While I was there, after things settled down a bit, my dad and I took a trip to one of the coolest, most Airstream-rich RV shops i’ve been to since becoming an Airstream Owner (ok, it at least tied Randy’s shop at North Dallas RV).
